The International Aromatherapy and Aromatic Medicine Association, formerly the IFA Australia branch, is the leading independent non-profit professional association dedicated to support aromatherapy practitioners in Australia and overseas.


The Australian Association of Massage Therapists Limited (AAMT) is the peak representative body for massage therapists in Australia and was formed in 2003 following the amalgamation of five major massage Associations across Australia.


The Australian Traditional-Medicine Society (ATMS) is Australia’s leading Association of natural medicine practitioners. With over 11,100 financial members, ATMS represents about 65% of all natural medicine practitioners in Australia. Practitioners represented by ATMS include massage therapists, acupuncturists, clinical hypnotherapists, counsellors, herbalists, homeopaths, kinesiologists, naturopaths and nutritionists.


The Australian Natural Therapists Association Limited (ANTA) is the largest national democratic association of ‘recognised professional’ traditional medicine and natural therapy [Complementary Medicine] practitioners who work in the areas of health care and preventative medicine.


The Association of Massage Therapists Ltd (AMT) is a national, not-for-profit company representing qualified Massage Therapists and Massage Therapy Students. Established in 1966, AMT is the oldest Association in Australia to represent massage therapy in its own right and is the premier representative body for professional therapists.


The Reflexology Association of Australia is an independent, non-profit organisation. It is managed by a national Board of Directors, and has branch committees in each State. RAA has been operating since 1989.


ITEC is the premier International Awarding Organisation for qualifications in Customer Service, Beauty & Spa, Hairdressing, Complementary Therapy and Sports & Fitness. Students who wish can sit additional exams to receive ITEC accreditation after successful completion of certain courses in Beauty, Massage and more.
